Up in the mountains there has been snow heavy enough to close roads, down to minus 4 at Lluc, but that is high up. Rain around and a good amount of it. Likely to be snow at sea level some time this week, but it's not so unusual. What is, is if it is heavy. I hope not. Yes, a very merry Christmas to you all. Despite the little difficulty with the spammers, still here and will remain here.

2012 is going to be another record year for tourism, so get your bookings in reasonably early, those of you who haven't already!

Just to let you know, it is currently a reasonably balmy 15 degrees by day. Should be sunny enough for Christmas Day if maybe a little chillier.

Here's to a great new year. Forget about the crisis - the pound's getting stronger against the euro, things are getting better. As the spamming has not stopped and given the relative inactivity of the forum at present, all new registrations for the forum have been suspended for the time being. A decision will be taken as to whether and when registration will be re-activated or as to whether the forum will be ended.
